Koninklijke Van der Most reinforces its position by taking over Moduli Print!
23 april 2018 Heerde/Horn: Today, Koninklijke Van der Most announced that it has become the new owner of Moduli Print in Horn. With this acquisition, Koninklijke Van der Most intends to further reinforce its position in the Benelux area and expand in Germany.
With its annual turnover of € 27 million euros and nearly 70 employees, Moduli Print, based in Horn, is a major printing company in the field of commercial printed materials. Moduly Print has been a reliable partner for its clients in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany for many years now. The company offers a all-in-one solution for facilities printing, regardless of the size of the print run or the type of form.
Moduli Print’s products and services make for a nice addition to Koninklijke Van der Most’s existing offering. The two combined make for an even stronger company with a solid position in the European graphic industry. Van der Most was founded in 1904 by Willem van der Most and has since grown into an all-round graphic manufacturer and service provider. The family business is currently run by members from the 3rd and 4th generation of the family.
Former owner and director of Moduli Print, Nico Coenen, will stay on to manage the business in Horn, which will remain its own independent entity. Nico Coenen: ‘I was looking for a strong strategic organisation that would be able to expand our business further, using the opportunities afforded by the market and our range of clients. I am convinced that Koninklijke Van der Most is a strong market player that is well aligned with this vision. As such, I feel confident that through this takeover by Van der Most, Moduli Print will be able to reinforce its market position and provide its clients with even better service.’
Koninklijke Van der Most mainly services clients in the Benelux area and is hoping to be able to expand its current market position further through this acquisition. Rob van der Most, one of the company’s managers: ‘By acquiring Moduli Print, we have reinforced our position in not just the Netherlands, but in Belgium and Germany as well, and expanded our production capacity. Moreover, we are obtaining new expertise and knowledge to be able to develop our products and services further and provide our clients with even better service in the future.’
